Terms & Conditions

Copyright & Usage Rights: 

 

All artworks in the auctions remain the intellectual property of the respective artists. Purchasing a piece grants ownership of the physical (or digital) artwork but does not transfer copyright. Reproduction, commercial use, or distribution of the artwork or images is prohibited without the artist’s explicit written permission. The auction organiser is not liable for copyright infringements committed by buyers or third parties.

 

Payments

 

  • You may be required to enter card details to preauthorise payment. The campaign host reserves the right to charge preauthorised cards for outstanding invoices once the campaign has closed.

 

  • The host may also set a service fee to cover transaction fees or other campaign costs, which may be charged on all online payment amounts.

 

  • Online Payments made on the campaign are securely processed by the payment processor, Stripe.

 

  • Stripe directs online payments to the campaign host. Art for Good does not hold any funds.

 

Auctions

 

  • The auction will be conducted electronically, with bids being displayed automatically.

 

  • Items will be sold to the highest eligible bidder recorded at the close of bidding. You will be notified on-screen if you are the winner, and you may also receive an email or text message confirmation of this.

 

  • Bids will not be accepted after the close of the auction.

 

  • Minimum Bid increments are indicated next to each item. In most cases, the minimum bid will be £50 unless stated.

 

  • No auction item may be redeemed for cash.

 

 

Delivery

 

  • The auction organiser will notify the artists of the winning bid for their artwork and provide the details of the winner to them. The artists will then be responsible for contacting the winner and dispatching the artwork to them.

 

  • The shipping payment is the responsibility of the winning bidder and not the artist, unless stated otherwise under each artwork

 

  • For transparency, all artwork will be shipped by tracked shipping, parcel tracking or shipment tracking. This allows both parties (the artist and the winner) to track the movement of the package or shipment throughout its delivery journey.

 

  • The Tracking Number must be shared with the winning bidder as soon as possible for the above reasons.

 

  • The Auction Organiser and the Artist shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever suffered (including but not limited to consequential loss) or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the auction or auctioned items, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

 

  • By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you, the bidder, accept that as a successful winner of an item, you will fully pay for the item (including any surcharge, tax or delivery costs) of all the items you win promptly.
