Meaning: Jerusalem is a city that has long been at the centre of the three Abrahamic faiths, a city of peace and unity. A region that is sacred to Islam, Judaism, and Christianity. Unfortunately, in recent years, the peace has been fractured by much tension and conflict. It was this situation that compelled me to show the beautiful grandeur of this icon of the holy city.

I have conveyed this sense of conflict and friction through my choice of tones, as well as a sense of hope for a return to a peaceful future. It is a realistically detailed, surreal graphic art style that brings the Dome of the Rock to your home. The Dome of the Rock is one of the most famous mosques in the world and is situated on the same site as the Al-Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem. It is often mistaken for the Al-Aqsa mosque, which is the third holiest site in Islam. The Mosque is built over a rock believed to be the very spot where Prophet Mohammed ascended to the Heavens on the Night of his Night Journey.
